Current Barriers Team Members

Mission: The barriers team was developed in March of 2000 with the intent of determining what barriers the students of SISD face and methods the school and community can use to assist the students in overcoming those barriers. Since that time, the team has grown in numbers and in projects. Funding from the Barrier's to Learning Grant from EED has provided resources including additional aide time for students. Increasing staff awareness and knowledge of issues our students face has been a priority. Projects to assist student success continue through the efforts of the barriers team.
